In restless seas, could once be heard
Requiems of the sweetest breath
Whispered songs of seldom seen
Beauties of unfathomed depths
Crescendo‘s rising with the tide
A mournful tune for a child still
Processions led by shrouded maid
A long forgotten ritual
The child still breathes not the air
Craving ‘stead the maiden’s womb
In salty blood or salty sea
Interred not in earthen tomb
Thus offered once unto the sea
Given breath by Neptune’s maid
Freed now from the Acrid air
Their beauty never to fade
Unto these maids
The stillborn given
The innocent
from death be risen
